xTool RA3 Rotary Attachment for F and P3 Series
The xTool RA3 is a four-mode rotary attachment that lets a flat-bed laser engrave round things — tumblers, mugs, bottles, spheres and rings. It mounts magnetically, swaps between roller, chuck, sphere and ring setups without tools, and handles chuck diameters up to 130 mm. This listing is the RA3 for P3/F Series package.
Key Features
- MagSwap magnetic mounting — assemble the rotary, adjust the jaws and change attachments without picking up a tool.
- Four modes in one unit — roller, chuck, sphere and ring, so one attachment covers drinkware, ornaments and jewellery.
- T-type jaws add contact points and support chuck engraving up to 130 mm diameter.
- 26° one-step angle positioning for inner-ring engraving and tapered objects.
- On P Series machines, automatic measuring, 3D modelling preview and rotary mode recognition line the design up before you engrave. The xTool P3 drives these with 360° LiDAR Mapping.
- Expandable for batches — the roller setup takes up to three sets of rollers; the Chuck Kit and Roller Extension Kit are sold separately.
Why a Rotary Attachment Is Not Optional for Round Work
A laser engraves a flat plane. Put a tumbler under it and only the narrow strip nearest the lens is in focus — the artwork distorts and fades away toward the sides, and anything wrapping more than a few degrees is unusable. The usual workarounds are worse: masking, multiple passes and repositioning by hand between each one.
A rotary turns the workpiece under a stationary beam so the engraved surface stays in focus the whole way round. That is what makes a wrapped design on a 90 mm tumbler, or text around the inside of a ring, a single job rather than a craft project. For anyone personalising drinkware or jewellery to order, the RA3 is the part that makes the work saleable.

These are xTool’s specifications for the attachment itself. A published diameter range does not guarantee that a given object clears the lid or the gantry of your particular machine — check the workspace height and the clearance you need before you order.
Compatibility
This package fits: xTool P3, xTool F2, xTool F1 Ultra, xTool F2 Ultra (both versions) and xTool F2 Ultra UV.
This package does not fit: xTool F1 and xTool F1 Lite. It is also not the M2 rotary — the xTool M2 uses the RA3 Lite, which is a separate product. The P2S/P2 rotary package is likewise a different configuration and is not this listing.
What You Get on P Series Versus F Series
Every machine on the compatible list gets the full mechanical package: MagSwap mounting, all four modes, the T-type jaws and the 0–130 mm chuck range.
Automatic measuring, 3D modelling preview and rotary mode recognition are P Series functions and are not supported on F Series machines. On an F2, F1 Ultra, F2 Ultra or F2 Ultra UV you set the job up yourself. We say this plainly because xTool’s own demonstration videos show those functions running on a P Series machine, and it is an easy thing to buy on the strength of.
What’s in the Box
The RA3 for P3/F Series package ships with the rotary body and its roller and chuck assemblies. xTool has not published a component-by-component packing list for this package, so we are not going to print item counts we cannot stand behind — ask us before ordering if a specific part matters to your setup and we will confirm it against the carton.
Not included: the laser machine itself; the Chuck Kit and Roller Extension Kit used for expanded batch workflows; and every tumbler, ring, vase and ornament shown in xTool’s photography and video, which are demonstration objects only.
Batch Work and Speed
xTool advertises batch processing at up to 1200 mm/s under its own optimised test conditions. That figure belongs to the laser and the setup, not to the rotary, and it is not a speed you should assume on any given F Series machine with your material. Expanded batch setups also need the optional kits, which are not part of this package.
Why Buy from Omnimakers
- Held in UAE stock. Days, not weeks, and no chasing a courier across a customs queue for a 2 kg accessory.
- Priced in AED. No duty surprise at the door, no card conversion fee on top.
- We stock the machines this fits. Fitment questions get answered against hardware on the bench rather than a compatibility chart — which matters here, because the RA3 family has several packages that look alike.
- Support in your timezone, from people who run these lasers.
- One supplier for the whole setup — machine, rotary, materials and consumables on one invoice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which xTool machines does the RA3 for P3/F Series work with?
xTool P3, F2, F1 Ultra, F2 Ultra (both versions) and F2 Ultra UV. It does not work with the xTool F1 or the F1 Lite.
Does the RA3 work with the xTool M2?
Not this package. The xTool M2 uses the RA3 Lite, which is a different product with its own adapter requirement. Buying this one for an M2 is the most common mistake with the RA3 range.
Is the laser machine included?
No. The RA3 is an attachment only. You need a compatible xTool laser, which is sold separately.
Do I get automatic measuring and the 3D preview on my F2?
No. Automatic measuring, 3D modelling preview and rotary mode recognition are P Series functions. F Series machines keep the magnetic attachment system, all four modes and the full chuck diameter range, but you align the job manually.
What is 360° LiDAR Mapping and do I need it?
It is the sensing method the xTool P3 uses to drive automatic measuring and the 3D preview. You do not need it to use the RA3 — it is a convenience on the P3, not a requirement.
What size objects can it hold?
Chuck mode 0–130 mm diameter, roller mode 3–198 mm, sphere mode 25–100 mm and ring mode 11–70 mm. Whether an object at the top of a range actually fits also depends on your machine’s internal clearance.
Can it engrave the inside of a ring?
Yes. The RA3 has a one-step 26° angle position for inner-ring and tapered-object engraving, and ring mode covers 11–70 mm diameters.
Can I engrave a standard 30 oz tumbler?
A typical 30 oz tumbler is roughly 90–100 mm across, which sits inside both the roller and chuck ranges. Confirm the height clearance inside your own machine before ordering, since that is usually the limit rather than the rotary.
How do I change between modes?
The attachments are magnetic. MagSwap lets you assemble the unit, adjust the jaws and change between roller, chuck, sphere and ring setups without tools.
Can I do batch runs with it?
Partly. The roller setup supports up to three sets of rollers, and expanded batch configurations need the Chuck Kit or Roller Extension Kit, which are sold separately and are not in this package.
Is the 1200 mm/s speed realistic?
That is xTool’s figure under its own optimised test conditions, and it describes the laser and setup rather than the rotary. Treat it as a ceiling, not an expectation — your real throughput depends on the machine, the material and the artwork.
Are the tumblers, rings and vases in the photos included?
No. Every workpiece shown in xTool’s images and videos is a demonstration object. You are buying the rotary attachment.
Is a packing list published?
Not for this package, no. xTool documents the assemblies but not a component-by-component list, so ask us and we will confirm against the carton rather than guess.
What is the shipping weight?
The attachment itself weighs 2.26 kg and measures 324 × 187 × 148 mm. The packed carton weighs a little more; shipping is calculated at checkout.
